I like how sophisticated Marilyn Manson seems to become comparatively to the other interviewees...

he always tries to seem well mannered and sophisticated. he just ends up sounding boring and monotone. all his interviews are like that. i think it's cuz he has no soul, lol.

Actually Marilyn Manson when interviewed comes across as more inteligent then most politicians. He does what he does for shock value, wich in turn makes him a lot of money. The man is very smart and obviously a good business man. Until everyone started making a fuss over how bad he is he was no one, his concerts didnt' sell out, then all the various groups started saying how bad he is blah, blah, blah and all the young rebel crowd goes " Hey I gotta check that out " Briliant man.

I love watching interviews with him for that reason alone. He is easily one of the most intelligent people in fame and/or notoriety today, and a lot of people don't realize that he is absolutely making fun of the media, the common definitions of beauty, and even his own fame all at the same time. If you saw him on Politically Incorrect with Bill Maher, you'd see that Mr. Brian Warner (Manson) has quite the sense of humor as well. I even saw one special on MuchMusic where Manson was in a debate with an angry mother, a catholic priest, and the Much interviewer. Even though Manson was double teamed, he kept his cool, and was easily 100x more sophisticated than his "opponents". I have a great deal of respect for him, despite what anyone says about him.

IF you like what Mr. Moore did on Farenheight, check out the Rock Against Bush Albums produced by Phat Wreck Chords. Granted not everyone is a fan of modern Punk Rock, but each album (there are 2 volumes) comes with a DVD that includes a short documentary that is very intelligently presented, and contains mostly interviews with Former CIA,DOD and Republican figures that quit or were fired since the republican's took power. Each volume sells for $9.99 CAD at music world. Also, the latest album by NOFX "War on Erroism" is fantastic and contains lyrics that will get the activist going in even the most complacent. Couple of props given to Canada as well!
Another great album in the spirit of left wing protest, "Land of the Free?" by Pennywise (2003)
thought some of you might be interested.
thanks,
Adam

Michael Moore is imo an extremely gifted man...he is one of the only people making documentaries these days that can get a whole nation talking...I've heard both sides of the issues he has dealt with (including Roger & Me) and you can see that every movie he stays the course as far as showing right from wrong...whether it's crooked politicians (aren't they all??) or GM execs....you can tell that he doesn't try to show anything but the facts...and generally he shows the person or groups (NRA) looking foolish and for no reason other than their own actions.
