I am still waiting to see , which comments are made about which show is bigger ,lmao , That topic seems to ruffle as much feathers as the whole wild caught/ captive born arguments ,lol
Great job so far Walter , can't wait to the show , as usual you deserve a great round of applause for your efforts in the reptile community.

Both shows are looking to be the biggest ever. To say which one will be bigger is a crapshoot at best. If you would like to know which one is bigger, I encourage you to check both and come to your own conclusion. The shows change every year. I am definitely looking forward to going to both shows and meeting some old friends and hope to meet some new ones. Soo you all there.

You should look out for cheap seat sales on Westjet for example. Fly to Calgary and get the bus to Red Deer, or fly to Edmonton and get the bus to Red Deer. I believe Red Deer is midway between Calgary and Edmonton.
Walter is the guy to ask - he knows everything!!!....Andrea.

Red Deer is midway to Calgary and Edmonton. Vancouver by plane to Calgary is 1 1/2 hr flight. Not sure what it would be by bus, but it would take a while.

Actually, RD is closer to Edmonton than Calgary... it's 1.5 hours from Calgary to RD... 1 hour from Edmonton. Which I guess really only makes a difference if you're WALKING, lol

Well thank you Andrea but really I don't know everything, close but not quite, lol.
I travel that damn road enough between Red Deer, Edm and Calgary. So here are the numbers
Red Deer to Edmonton is 154.34km or 95.9 miles
Red Deer to Calgary is 144.97km or 90.08 miles. So very close and very boring drive either way.
By Grey hound it will be a good day travel right to Red Deer. Here is a link.

By West Jet will get you to Calgary then you would have to get a ride or rent a car. Another link.

I took the bus from Medicine Hat to Vancouver, took 20 hrs. If you took the ferry to Vancouver Greyhound terminal to Red Deer, I imagine,it would take 25 hrs or so. Pretty cheap if you buy two weeks in advance.

Ok where to start, there are many updates to add to the show other then the vendor list this time.
Let's start with the BBQ. All the burgers are homemade and the salads. Bonnie has been busy making the burgers and will be doing the salads later on. I will use clean containers this year since Greg was bothered by this, lol. The good thing is I thaw tested the hamburger meat about 7 times and it is good till then anything after 7 times it starts to change color and the flies don't hang around anymore, but don't worry about the containers.
The prize for one of the vendors is going to be a Autostart GS-1422 Automatic Transmission Multi-channel remote car starter. With 2 key chain remotes. The winner however will have to get it installed. If you are from the area you can get it upgraded to Manual Transmission if you like. Just pay the difference. This is a $100 value for just showing up as a vendor. I would like to thank Vibe Car Audio for this prize.
This next one should make everyone happy. I got a ATM Machine for the show. It will be in the same room right by the main doors. This is going to be so handy for people wanting to buy stuff.
The person who one the free Jacuzzi Room was Jim from Capital Colubrids. He gets a two night stay paid for.
I know there is more to say just way to tiered to think right now. I will post more when I can remember.

Set up times are

It would be nice if everyone was set up by 9am on Sat.
The vendors list is updated one more time. See above post.
109 Tables are booked!!!!!!!!
If you are not on the list let me know or if you want to book a table there is still room.
