Very nice! Congratulations!

Now take it home, put it in it's enclosure, and leave it alone for a week or so. Then hopefully he/she will eat for you!

if you stress her out by handling too much, it is more likely she will not eat, possible for longer than it would have taken her to eat before. i agree with daver, leave your girl alone for a couple weeks and let her adjust to her new home.

So if you leave your python in its environment for a week to chill - don't worry about the bottom of the cage? For poop and stuff? Only worry about changing the water? and the temperature?

Just got a ball python the other day... know it ate 2 days ago and that its under a year... its name is Sexy since I don't know the sex for now until I get to take it to the vet with its first poop for checking.

Hey sexyballs, clean out the substrate when its soiled and change the water, but just lay off the handling for a week or two, if you didn't clean the crap outta the cage for weeks u could have a whole new mess of problems on your hands
..good luck
