Rats and Mice in Nova Scotia

My friend just gave me his snake (he moved), and I have no idea where to get mice for it. He bred his own mice but I don't want to do that, and all the local petstores in Halifax charge 3$ for feeder mice and I'd rather not pay that much.

Thanks,
Seda

If you want cheaper prices, you can order frozen in quantity and have it shipped. There are several suppliers that ship their rodents such as mice'n'things, mice4you, Canadian Feeders, etc.

You can also check out your local "buy and sell" or whatever the equivalent there is, and find mice in there. But Walter at Mice and Things is great to deal with.
Take care

Thanks Annie, But Corey Woods is the person to contact out East. I don't sell past Man. Corey deals East of Man. He still has great deals, lol.

Thanks! But I'd rather not ship them in. I only have one snake so I just need a couple every week or so. My mother isn't enamored with the idea of dead mice in her freezer so I'd like to buy them as I need them.

I checked out some of those places that ship, my only concern is the shipping fees. I imagine they'd be pretty high, to ship out frozen mice this far.

I'm in New Brunswick and shipping is really the only answer if you don't want to breed your own or pay pet store prices. I've gone in now on three orders from rodent pro from Corey and everything is packed with dry ice. Twice I ordered pinkies and they always arrived rock solid.
Cheers,
Trevor
