Not so ordinary normals - then and now
Waiting for my clutches to hatch so getting a few pics of how last years babies have grown up - and these two normal corns remain some of my favorites. Amazes me how much they change from hatchlings - first pics were from last September - just after first shed for each of them -
Normal het striped
She was a non-feeder and went through a couple months brumation before she started - now taking large hoppers
Normal - breeder designated as Miami - not the grey background I think is preferable in Miamis but I love her color now
(bought as a non-feeder to learn how to force feed) - taking adult mice now
then
now
thanks for looking,
mary v.

Thanks everyone - I really like these two. May have to breed the second one to a butter het and see if the 'caramel' color is anything related to caramel gene. Will definately be hanging onto these two!

Was the "miami" from Troy (Darwin's Oasis), Mary? They sure turn out nice compared to the plain jane babies they start as eh. Mark

Yes Mark - that baby was bred by Troy. I haven't seen the parents and it certainly is not typical of the grey based Miami lines, but she is turning out absolutely beautiful - I really like the golden based colors best - can hardly wait to see what she will produce.
