Arizona Trip with lots of pics

Hi,

Here's a bunch of pics from my trip to AZ in April. It was a blast but if I could go again I would go in July or August (road cruising is way better then).

The first find of the trip, a western diamondback.

a differt one...

Here's some gopher snakes. These were common.

A couple long-nosed snakes we found on the rads at night....also pretty common.

a western patch-nosed snake

a western black-necked gartersnake

A chuckwalla from South Mountain, Pheonix.

Urosaurus ornatus

Scoloporus magister

un-id'd lizard

regal horned lizard

various other pics....

my brothers pic....he was so proud of this one hmmmmm

a male blue-throated hummingbird (a SE Arizona specialty)

gambel's quail (common)

vermillion flycatcher

long-billed curlew (an uncommon species there)

Vaejovis spinigerous (stripe-tailed scorpion)

a habitat shot

sunset....

Hope you enjoyed them.

Lots of patience. I found a few under junk as it was getting dark so they were a little easier. The chuckwalla was a miracle in my opinion, those things are rediculously hard to photograph/catch. I'm glad you enjoyed the pics...

Great pics. What type of camera was used to take all of the pictures?
