need advice on my Chameleon..

hey everyone.. im new in this place... this guy refered me to post my chameleon "problem" here..

i have a veiled Chameleon... and just this morning i found blood in his feces.. kinda scary.. but his behavious hasnt changed.. i check him every 30 minutes... he drinks water... and still hunts for his food... still has his routine... (basking..etc..)

so.. basicly if i can avoid going to the vet i will.. ( since theres only one "Herp Specialist" in the ottawa region) if i absolutly have to then i will probably do so..

attached is a link with a picture of him..

Not a vet myself, but I'd definitely take him in. Even a 'domestic' vet can do a fecal. One of the symptoms of some worms is bloody stool. I think it's hookworms, but I'm sure there are others that cause blood loss. Even if it's not worms, bloody stool is a medical emergency.

I would take him to the vet at Blair animal hospital, Dr. Auger. Top notch knowledge and intellect from this guy, he'll solve all your problems! Especially with blood in his feces, I would definitely take him in!
