What are you using for substrate? All my savs shedding problems were taken care of when I put substrate in that they were willing to use. Plain old yard dirt.
My humidity levels stay at around 58%.
Hope this helps.

First of all, raise the temps.

I used birch to help in shedding. Nothing like a split log to rub against. I also provide Clean water daily for soaking in 2 12 gallon rubbermaids about half full. Is your sav done shedding yet?

This your first monitor? If it just started shedding 48 hours earlier, there's no reason to expect it to be finished shedding. They don't shed as a snake would, all at once, but piecemeal. When young, it may take a few days to a week or more to finish shedding and it's not unusual for it to be still shedding bits and pieces on one part of its body while starting the next shed on another. Adult monitors may take a long while to complete a shed, depending on temperature and a number of other factors.
