How long do you wait?

I paired up a couple of boas a while back and I want to separate them so i can feed them. currently they're a coil of boas and separating them looks to be a task for a few people. should I leave them together until they separate on their own and then feed them or should i try to separate them and feed them now?

I would wait. They'll move when they're hungry I would think.
