What size prey for sand boas?

Do sand boas prefer small prey over prey the same width as their bodies? I was reading some old posts and saw a couple of people say they feed adults pinkies.

I'm curious what size prey others feed their adults of various species.

I keep 4 of them, and feed mine about the same size as the bodies.
My sub adults can take a weaned rat, while my late 03's are on live pinkie mice.

Regards
Brian

If someone was giving an adult sand boa pinky mice, that person needs to seriously be educated.

My baby sand boas take fuzzies. My 23" female adult takes large adult mice. I've heard that they prefer smaller prey, but all 4 of mine don't have any issues whatsoever taking down prey the same size or even larger than their girth.

Thanks guys! My 10 month old KSB is taking fuzzies and I'm about to try hoppers with him. My adult female Roughscale and adult male Saharan aren't eating for me and I was wondering if I was trying too large of prey (adult mice). When I read some people saying pinkies for adults I was surprised to say the least.
