Eastern Conference

Tampa Bay vs. Long Island = Long Island in 6
Boston vs. Montreal = Boston in 5
Philly vs. New Jersey = Philly in 6
Toronto vs. Ottawa = Toronto in 5

Western Conference

Detroit vs. Nashville = Detroit in 5(Detroit will win the cup)
San Jose vs. St. Louis = San Jose in 5
Vancouver vs. Calgary = Vancouver in 7
Colorado vs. Dallas = Colorado in 6

I'm a little late on this one, hope it's ok.

Sorry, but i don't think Detroit can compete with Teams like Colorado, Vancouver or even Dallas.. They won't make it out of the west..

Dank you seem a little harsh sometimes man. Everyone seems to get the joke but you. This is all in good fun. Take a breath.

What does the regular season have to do with the playoffs?? Obviously nothing.. I remember Ottawa beating Toronto throughout the regular season and losing 4 games straight in the playoffs.. The regular season is all about posistioning in the playoffs (who finishes where).. Detroit has a great team, agree'd.. Prolly better then the teams i listed, but the difference is, the teams i listed have young talented HUNGRY players.. Detroit will be lucky to get passed Nashville.. And if that series goes 7 games, Detroit will be tired for round two, then what??

3. Vancouver 101
4. Colorado 100
5. Dallas 97

That's far from 'underachieving'.. Perhaps they all should have had 164 pt. seasons??

So im not the only one that's realized that huh??

Taking stuff a little too much to heart.. The Red and Black blinders have you in a bad mood or summin man, it's pretty sad that everyone else can have fun and talk about stuff, but you turn it into a 'what do you know' type conversation..

Who says I'm not having fun? Cause I am. I can't help that I am surrounded (by my dads business) by hockey 24/7.
Colorado - underacheiving considering they were claiming to be the ones to revolutionize modern hockey with high scoring game.
Dallas - Modano and newcommer Bure are just sad.
And Vancouver .. well they were good.

4-2, HAHAHHAHAH. Bring on the excuses!

oh and if i hear one leafer complain that that double penalty wasn't justified...

the first penalty he was pulled down from behind by a hook, the second penalty the guy slashed so hard he broke the stick and still smashed the sens' shin. They were both penalties, whether these are penalties that should be called in the playoffs is another story. None the less, you broke the rules, and you got called on it. Keep in mind, we got a penalty for highsticking that shouldn't have been called.

So aside from that, how else can you justify this loss?

Geoff
