I got this from this website.
http://www.rmjreptiles.com/terms.htm

Here is the breakdown for double het to double het.

Out of a litter of 16:

1 normal

2 het anery

1 anery

2 hypo

4 hypo het anery

1 super hypo

2 super het hypo

2 hypo anery (ghost)

1 super hypo anery (super ghost)

Since you cant tell a normal from a het, all normal looking offspring are considered possible het anery. Since you cant tell a hypo from a super hypo in boas, all hypo looking animals have the potential to completely dominant hypos. All these animals should also be considered possible het for anery. The ghosts in the litter are also possible dominant ghosts.

So the real breakdown for double to double is:

Possible het anery

Possible dominant hypos possible het anery

Possible dominant (super) ghosts

i dont think he meant to put the het in there as hypos are a co-dominant trait.

I dont really understand that either

It should have been written super het for anery. The reason you do not get the standard breakdown of 9.3.3.1 is that in this case the DH is composed of a codominant gene (salmon).

When we talk about DH breedings most people think of 2 recessive genes like in DH for Snow or DH for Striped Albino. In this case we have DH for Ghost with the co dominant salmon(hypo) gene which makes for more possible outcomes and alot more confusion.

Just wait until we have some triple het boas produced like salmon triple het for albino and anery then the fun will begin.

There are more options here as well. What was the breeding that the DH came from. Was it hypo X anery or hypo X ghost. If it was the latter then one or both could be a homogeneous hypo het anery. Then you would get all hypos.
