i have taken karate and aikido, judo and brazilian jujitsu id like to try boxing, if u want to be an all around good fighter u should also learn to fight on the ground. there are some fun submissions u and learn. most fights end up on the ground and in the ufc most of the guys who win know submission hope u find something u like

I know Kung Fu but I only use it for doing household chores (like in Crouching Tiger...). To defend myself I have made the conscious choice to become a biter. I latch on and through gnashed teeth I scream "I have herpes!!"

ya me 2 for defence didnt you hear what i said i dont like to fight i do if i have 2. There are 2 many kids in my school who like 2 start fights because there board. Well, I guess that would be because the topic "boxing" might contain some interesting content, but instead all you do is talk about how much muscle you have (LOL) and how you always have to carry a knife and crap like that.

As someone posted in your other thread about being hit with a metal baseball bat. You said that when they saw you coming wearing your wife beater the guy ran in his house...hmm

It takes some guts to swing at someone with a bat considering you could get charged for that if you seriously injured the person, so on that point, the guy would have to have a few screws loose, and id assume he wouldn't be running from a little 14 year old punk. Honestly, I think you probably made the whole story up to get attention and make yourself look tough. Unfortunatly the story has no use on a reptile website and you just make yourself look like a fool.

well I will tell you somthing i did ab out 4-5 years of karate and then saw the streets my life change for the worst.

You see street fighting is a no holds bar fight and when you are jumped there is more the 2-3 guys so on the street you need an equiliser ei..bass ball bat...knife...gun what ever floats your boat.

Don't take boxing to learn how to fight on the streets go on the streets to learn how to fight there.
Take it cause you like the sport!!!!

A street fighter will take your life just to shut you up.
If you saw me personaly and started talking like this around me saying you hade a knife on ya or went after a bunch of guys in your women beater I would take you out side and slap you around just cause i can you swing at me and i will stab you with your own knife.

A real street fighter gets the job done a never speaks of it again for his/her own safty.

I had to learn how to fight or i would not eat during the day when i was younger i thaugh i was toug $#!T then i was hospitalised and flat lined for a few secounds that wakes you up in the morning. i will tell you that much.

just remember this B4 you hit some one

ask your self....
who is this guys brother or sister, cousin and so on
who are his friends
who are the adults in his familly mom, dad, uncle.
(dude you punch out a mophia child you better learn how to swim with concreat boots)

also remember there is enugh street gangs out there they see you punch out some one they are gona recruit him and take care of him next thing you know you have the cript or bloods shooting up you house.

love the animals and forget about the rest trouble is only there if you are looking for it join a church do somthing productive with your youth.

lol i agree with repti zone, if u wanna learn how to street fight thats where you learn or ull end up dead fast. another thing just by reading yoour posts i can tell your either 13 or punch drunk so give your brain some time to develope before you make a decision like that

i know feel ya guys i feel ya its scary the town right next to me is gang city my brother in laws cousins just kill ppl they dont beat them up they kill them i knew who this kids borther was his dad. Theres some ppl you just dont mess with!!!! I dont like messin with the popular boys i wouldnt even if he was small he will get his huge 7ft freinds. Trust me this is gettin all out war. I dont live in canada trust me no one i know is on this site. ok im not a little 14 year old punk the kids wasnt much older than me he was 15 bffftt

How about we talk about you staying in school?? Im sorry if that sounds insulting, but i just tried four times to read your post and now i have to pop a dozen tylenol to get rid of the headache.. Lay off the fighting talk dude, people who brag about beating people up, are usually the people who get their asses kicked.. If you fight, leave where it happened, no need to talk about it..

Oh yeah, don't worry about us up here in Canada, we have idiots with guns now too, it just takes a little longer for that kinda crap to get to us. Sort of like new satellite TV channels. But I don't see what that has to do with boxing. Are you planning to box these 7 foot tall products of incest (if I read that right..?) as they fire bullets at you? Let me know how that works out. lol!

A good friend of mine was a boxer and now retired from the sport, but he can't remember **** from being hit too many times.
His memory is shot, as is his body, like mentioned above, his nose has been broken many times. One time that he has told me was he woke up in the emerg after having a machine attached to his face to align his cartalige(sp?) in his nose or something, anyways, he had internal bleeding and nearly bit the big one.
How much of this is possible I don't know I wasn't there, so I take his word on it.

It's a dangerous sport, if you do it, like already said, make sure it's in a controled and safe environment.
