Question Rat racks

What type of plastic bins are acceptable for rats? Don't want anything they'll chew up and escape on me

Thanks everyone

Shane

I just use a rubbermaid or sterilite container.

Same here, try to find a rubbermaid, or sterilite that is smooth inside.

I took and cut out a big square in the lid, used 1/2" hardware cloth, and bolted it in with the "Face" of the bolt on the inside.

I took 1/4" hardware cloth, made it into a tube about 6" from the floor of the sterilite (I have a 90L sterilite, so adjust it as needed) then put some 1/2" hardware cloth on the bottom and formed a triangle like shape held together by plastic electrical ties.

That way when I fill up the food container it don't fall out the sides

I also drilled holes in the side of the container, got those picture hooks from wal-mart, and some chain (like the kind you put your dog out on).

Since I had 2 water bottles I used 3 of those hooks, put one on each side of the bottles, and one in the middle of the bottles.
Use the chain to hold the bottles in place....
