Other Forums Make Me So Mad!

Hi,
I haven't posted here in months (I still have my python and geckos. I just have a baby now who takes up lots of my time! LOL!), but I needed to tell you guys about what I read today on another forum. I recently bought some chinchillas so I have been posting on some of the chin message boards, just like I did when I got my python.
Today was the first time I checked out Chins and Gliders. Can I just say OMG! What a bunch of disrespectful, rude individuals!

Personally? I hate spiders.. i'm arachnophobic. But even so I wonder how funny they would find it if we made jokes about feeding their precious rodents to our herps? As I was saying in another thread recently.. stupidity seems to be a universal problem lately *rolls eyes*

Hopefully the Tarantula owner checked out the invert. section of SsnakesS.

Thanks to those of you who posted over there. Maybe, just maybe we have enlightened a few of those dummies on that website.
I searched around a little more after I posted there and WOW!!! I can't get over the rude people on that forum. The *Ownerof the site*, who coincendently was the moron who wanted to smash the T., even called the girl with the Trantula a B*itch and even threw out the F word at her in another post!
Good Lord! I won't be going back there (other than to see if I started a war! LOL!)!

I didn't think havoc was one of the problems on that link, though I can't get to it right now. I thought havoc was trying to educate the forum in FAVOR of invertebrates.

Haha i did say that Slannesh. Here's what i said.

As far as the tarantula bashing goes "to each their own" but how would you feel if i said chins and sugers are nothing but rodents that should be fed to my snakes. You wouldn't like that and instantly start flaming me.

Oh yeah I'm Havoc on that forum not that i will really post there after this thread.

i didnt know he was on a herp forum but on the HIM forum he was a pretty cool guy. but then agian i dont know him persoanlly.

For cuddly PETS only. And people can talk about whatever animals they have, gliders, chins, ferrets, dogs, cats, mice, rats (pets here, not breeders, lol)

Hmmm. This topic has made me reflect on how great our site here is. I really appreciate how nice and friendly and accepting people on this site are. Even a debate will not go completely out of hand like we have seen. We are also very fotunate to have a great webmaster and great mods(

Thank you guys!). People with exotic animals such as chins and stuff are not rejected and no one threatens to feed them to their snakes like that site threatened to squish peoples t's and reptiles and stuff.

Drewlowe: I didn't mean something against you there if you thought i did i guess i just phrased it wrong.

Overall i think we have the greatest site and I don't go on any other forum sites now with the exception of our sister site AllThingsAquatic.com.

I would like to thank everyone for making this such a great place and also thank Jeff for creating this site as I immagine many people on this site feel this is a !BIG! family, lol, and also they feel like someone because here they are accepted into a group of people with the same interests as them where they would normally be rejected by most. I only had one other friend interested in reptiles before joining the site but now I have MANY! Right guys?(and girls, no descrimation meant, just as an expression). I also feel fortunate to have met some people on this site that are people I may now associate with and also do business with. Anyways, I'l stop my rambling and get back to the topic.

Those people were incredibly rude. No respect for others and I thought that the owner of the board was quite the jack@$$. Glad no one here is like that.
