I can't wait to see it... I hope it's as good as the book...

I'm as much against the film as you, but movie discussions are permitted on the site as long as they adhere to the TOS, which albeit will be a tough one here, but so far so good. As long as it sticks to the actual movie, and not discussin the religious aspects of it, then there is nothing wrong. If you don't like it, nobody is forcing you to partake in it, or even read it for that matter, skip ahead to something else that would be better time spent for you, it's a big enough site with more than enough threads

I didn't hear of the strike on CNN, but rather in an interview with the guy that played jesus on another channel during commercial or something. So unless he is lying that he himself was hit...

thanks you for making this a great place to be
No, it's post like yours that reminde the members of how they are behaving in the first place that help make this site great. People need to be reminded of the good things they are doing, not the bad.
Thank you,
Trevor

Exactly, I think that was the best thing to do to ensure that this post doesn't get out of hand (I am sure it won't). Good post UpscaleBoas
Thanks,
Ryan

I am unclear why this movie would make anyone upset? have you all even seen it so far? Only one person here has that I have read about, so how can some of you say you are against the making of this film? as long as it is an acurate film wheres the problem?

I too would be interested on why people are against the movie. However if anyone plans on doing so, please do it in a PM as that would be related to religious and moral issues I would imagine.

I can't wait to see the movie.............looks great. I think the whole idea of people freaking out about it goes back to my anti-censorship opinions............if you don't think you'll like it, don't go see it..........seems simple to me. If I'm offended by some music (hypothetically.........nothing in the media really offends me) I just wouldn't buy the CD or change the station if it comes on the radio..........

Anyway, if it has subtitles, I will have to wait a few weeks to go and see it as I just found out that I need glasses.......... I don't think its going to be fun to go from never having worn glasses before, to having to wear them all the time.....

Thought about it, but the thought of picking a contact off my eyeball just doesn't appeal to me..............

I would like to ask people is I deserved this nasty letter? All I was trying to do was make sure you guys were getting your money's worth.

I honestly can't believe that you have the audacity to start a thread pertaining to a film of this nature and believe the thread has nothing to do with religion!!!! Are you completely mad? What could possibly possess you to do this? Epiphany? Rapture? Demonic possession perhaps?

I've already filed a complaint with the adminstrators and you can expect the deletion ASAP. If you want to subscribe to some pathetic, desperate system of beliefs then suit yourself, but don't EVER think about waiving it in the faces of others capable of formulating opinions of their own.

Obviously I misjudged you.
