Oxyrhopus petola

I found this guy while visiting Trinidad. They are known as banded calico snakes, false coral snakes or banded glossy snakes. This is why scientific names are used I guess. This snake was on the road at night, what a treat to find one.

THAT IS THE NEATEST SNAKE I HAVE SEEN, i want one, is it venomous, I bet its a lizard eater, with all those gex in trinidad
