Another poo question

K, I posted about if just getting urates is normal.

Usually I get a poo eventually, but this time, no poo. Lot's of urates, but no feces part.

Should I be worried?

She was last fed on Jan.29th ( a 50gr sm. rat ).
She is going to shed within the next couple days ( was blue yesterday)

Thx.

She will most likely go when she sheds. Hows your humidity? Plus that was only 2 weeks ago thats nothing. To be honest I don't worry about them going too the bathroom it just happens. And if it takes a really long time throw her in the bath or let her crawl around the room that'll make her go plus some increased humidity will help but honestly it will just happen on its own no need to worry.

hmmmm, maybe someone should explain to me the art of BRB poo? If I shouldn't be worried, AWESOME. But I like to know the why's behind it? Do they not poo often? Yah know the general rule about not feeding untill they poo, does this apply here?

Humidity is at about 98% last time I checked She does get exercise as well Never bathed her tho.

As boids age, they defecate less frequently. Nothing to worry about at all, just part of growing up. Everythings metabolism slows down with age. As for the feeding in accordance to their defecation schedule, that really only applies to strictly arboreal animals such as ETB, and even that allows several feeding between poops. Boids would end up severely underfed if they were only fed between poops. :toilet:
