i love petfinder, i'v never used it to adopt an animal but its such a great idea, any one can find any animal they want to adopt

Dark Angel- Pet finder works just fine for Canada as well. Just put in your location. They don't often have reptiles listed in canadian areas, but almost every dog and cat for adoption in any province from private and SPCA shelters is listed.

Check with your local Herp club.They often do reptile adoptions.I've got lots of Iguanas and sliders looking for homes in the Edmonton area.

Petfinder is Canadian and American, all you have to do is type in your location for the shelters closest to you.

Yeah, big suprise there, it's such a shame at that. Hopefully the iguanas are adopted by people that have the means and the experience to care for them properly.
