the first frog i ever owned was a leopard frog and he was quite easy to care for. they are also really neat little amphibians to watch.

You need a permit to own a Leopard Frog in Ontario, which is difficult to get, and that would still leave you with WC animals.

Do you want a ground dweller, or more arboreal? One you can handle once in a while, or just look at and admire? Can you raise your own food like fruit flies, or take the easier route with cricket eaters etc? All these make a difference in which kind of frog (or toad) would make a good beginner critter. Oh... and how big a tank will you be using, and is it a 'high' or 'long' tank?

hmmm my friend has a golden tree frog and its with me right now, its just that shes gone for a while, And its seems pretty easy to take care of, spray the tank for a few mins, and throw in a couple of crikets. And i got intrested.....and wanna do research on a type frog. i dont mind ifs its a ground dweller or arboreal, but perfer ground dwellers, that can will most likly just be admired. I have started to breed criekts and crikets isnt a problem and fruit flys i can get n problem. i would pefer frog(s). 10 gallon or higher if needed..............perfer long, but if it needs high n problem, so pretty fexable on these things, just that i dont big chucky frogs IMO dont be offend lol.
