sexing young rats

I was wondering how I can tell what sex a rat is when it is little? they all seam to have a little bump at ther back door

you can usually tell from the distance between the two holes. I can't remember for sure but i think the space is bigger on females.

The distant between the two holes is smaller in females than in males. Also, males are usually a little larger in overall size, even at a young age
