Any of the Naultinus sp. from New Zealand. The odd time a legal pair does turn up they are in the vicinity of 3K a pair.

ah Naultinus........very neat geckos indeed.
I think Albino Knob-tails might still be up around the $2000 US/ea. mark. But Naultinus are MUCH nicer
Way to go Scotty, now you're got Naultinus on my mind!

I paid $2200 US for a pair of super hypo tangs from The Urban Gecko....... Might sound alittle expensive for a pair of loes but, The orange in them is unmatched by ANY other super hypo tang on the market and ther is hardly any Urban gecko blood line here in the US......... The orange in this pair is so intence its almost blinding........ This pair is sure to produce the highest quality offspring in the world........ Wait until I get the pics up so you guys can see for yourselves.......

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Jon, does this mean I should perhaps pick up a pair or two in Daytona this year and see if I can breed them? I could use a new project.

There ya go...........I can't think of a better project, nor a better person to provide me with babies
What are they going for in the US anyway? I was offerred some a while back from Japan at a pretty decent price.........in retrospect, I'm not sure why I don't have them.

I only saw two pair of elegans last year @ 3500.00 maybe 3000.00. Being as New Zealand regulations are just as tough as Australia, I would be very careful thinking about buying them out of Japan or anywhere for that matter. These youngsters that I saw offered were "US zoo bred" from a reputable dealer. Yes, zoo surplus in the US does find it's way into the hobby occasionally. You should consider making the trek to Daytona this year, who knows what new projects you may discover yourself.
Thank you for the compliment BTW.
