Tha largest snake pit in the world is an hour away from my house. I will go in th spring when they are mating and take some pics. It's quite a sight!

Would that happen to be a Butler's garter? Just curious.

As for the cats, I'm not a big fan of outdoor cats either. Working for the SPCA I see too many birds and other wildlife injured or dead becos of cat attacks. It's the owners who are the problem not them cats. My two cents.

We are kinda cat rescuers, we have barns behind ourselves and take the poor stays in all the time...kinda our part to helping the little guys get off the street.
