Pic of my hatchling het female
I just took this picture and thought it turned out kinda good. This is my 100% het albino female. She's still kinda small, the little bugger is so picky when it comes to food. I always had absolutely no trouble getting any of them to eat, so I started to wonder how people can say bp's are finicky eaters. Now I understand. For what she's eating though (hopper mice) she's growing, slowly but surely! I also have a male het albino same age (16 inches @ 130 grams, both born Oct. 10th ) but he's in shed so I won't bother him. Hey! It's their 2 month birthday! LOL

Very nice Jen!
Have you tried rats? Mine were eating Fuzzie rats at that size.
Cheers,
Trevor

Yep, I have tried rats. That is what I try to get them on first thing, even before bothering switching to f/t. I've tried pinky rats live, p/k, f/t; fuzzy rats live, p/k, f/t. She doesn't like f/t either. Only live hopper mice. Not even adult mice GOSH... But I keep trying, every feed. And I keep throwing away uneaten mice and rats. Grrr... Oh well, thanks!

She is beautiful! ya atleast she's eating. Our female bp only eats white adult mice. If I try to feed her rats then she flips out and curls into the tightest little ball imaginable and won't uncurl until I put her into one of her hides.............. and she wraps her head in the middle to....... they can be so stubborn!
