Russian/Desert sandie

Here's a couple pics of Dez, a russian sand boa. Neat li'l things. Pattern's quite different from other sandies. Belly's quite speckly. She is about two feet. Look at the eyes how far atop the head they sit.

As far as I know, not too common in Canada.

They have the coolest head of all sand boas. I think you're right, not many up here I don't think.
Cheers,
Trevor

Neat, glad to share some pics of this gal. I will try to see if I have any more on my computer that I can upload.

Yup, the head is quite neat. And just to be clear, Dez is a she. The males don't get nearly as big.

I'd like to know if anyone is working with these guys? I can't see why not? Kenyans are everywhere, we need to see more of the other species of sand boas.

Hi Guys.

Sandboa´s are cool snakes...
I don´t keep the miliaris miliaris yet but next year they should be here...
I do keep the Black Russian... Big Pic sorry!

Just to be clear Danielle these pics aren't KSB.

Absolutely LOVE the black russians. Don't know of anyone in Canada with any. If so, please speak up!!
