Here lies Omar, rest in peace.
This is off topic here but I'm gonna paste my post from the turtle/tortoise forum. 'me sniffs'
Well, my red-ear that would only eat fish lately, has died.
He looked fine and was acting normal. Then I went to try giving him some Banana and he was limp on his basking ramp twitching his head violently. ??????? One minute he was swimming and fine, and 20 seconds later it looked as though he was having some kind of seziure. I picked him up to check his airway and he was limp and barely twitching. Before I could pick up the phone to call the vet, he died in my hands. Went limp. I checked his breathing but nothing. I held him for 15 minutes hoping he might, I don't know, come back or snap out of it. But I knew he was gone.
Another victim of negligent idiotic dumbass human losers who didn't care enough to give him the care he needed for the first 3 years of his life. The love and home I provided for his last 6 months, I hope was his best. I'm a 28 year old man and I feel like crying. I don't know what to think. I'll take him to the vet tomorrow to get a cause of death.
'me hangs head and fights back tears'

Bummer. I've got no other way to describe it. It's hard right now, but you know you gave him the best possible home for the last few months. There needs to be more people like you that open their hearts to these poor little fellows that need a good home.
My deepest condolences.

Hey gfisher... that's so sad. It's so hard to lose a herp like that. I'm sorry it had to happen to such a nice person. ![Frown](http://www.ssnakess.com/forums/images/smilies/frown.gif) Glad you could give it a better home for the end of it's life, though.
