Humidity

Any tips on how to get my humidity up..i spray twice a day but after about an hour...the humidity goes wayyyyyyyy down.

I thought foggers don't really bring up the humidity..

I use foggers in the wintertime on my cages and I find they work really well for upping the humidity levels. They also add much needed water for the chameleons to drink.

In the dead of winter I also have a humidifier running in the chameleon room.

The reason the humidity goes down is due to the air circulation. Less air ciculation = more humidity. The thing to figure out is what is enough ciculation to allow. To much it dries quickly, not enough it creates mold and bacteria. It also depends on what your using as a substrate, how you keep water available and all that jazz.

Well i have a full mesh cage which isn't good for holding humidity...I geuss i'lll start looking around for a fogger or humidifier.

ya those would help a lot, almost most cham cage uses mesh
