best way to heat??

Any suggestions on how to heat a 30L tank for a BP? Keep reading about heat tape and trying to figure out what it is and how it works?etc... Can someone please help ???

Heat tape, basically is the same thing in human heat pads. I prefer it for my boas, which now I use the plain old human heating pads. It works well for most snakes, but depending on caging requirments and snake in question. I think an UTH (another heat tape "upgrade") would do good on 1/3 of the tank to provide a warm area. Another reason I prefer it over lighting is that fact that it can be used 24/7. Same with ceramic heat supplies, they do not produce light that throws off day/night cycles. You could as well use a light to bask the snake, but cannot be used 24/7 either.
