dwarf retics

Does anyone know the adult size of dwarf retics? I'd like to know any information on them from anyone with experience with them.
Thanks in advance,
Brian

super dwarfs don't get that big, Constrictors unlimited has them
6' for supers but i think the dwarfs still can get to ten feet . Check out bobclark.com , he has some stuff on the dwarfs under his (animals) posting.

The Jampea dwarf gets about 6'. Super dwarf gets even smaller. To make a super dwarf I believe you have to breed the Jampea to a Kayudai(sp?) retic.

Everyhing I hear about retics makes me think they would be an incredible snake to keep. I don't think I'm ready for a huge snake though. Would a super dwarf or dwarf have the personality of a regular retic?

some times you get a good sometimes you get a bad. Most times you can tame them down from an early age. With enough handling you should get a realy tame snake. I have a wild C retic and he is really tame. he lets some people handle him sometimes but I almost swear he knows me caus' I have no problem with him.

Dwarfs are cool snakes. But yeah some are spunky some aren't. The jampeas are the bigger of the dwarfs some reaching 12 ft. The Stripes stay at about 10 ft. And the SuperDwarfs are averaging 6ft or smaller. There are no adult superjamps yet, so that one is in the air for now. But i'd bet they stay around 10 ft if not pushed too hard. But they are awesome animals, and their size is a plus . You might like them. I love mine to death. The stripe is beautiful and easy to deal with . The superdwarfs are a little waspy at times. But my jamps are the best, as long as they know your not food!.

I've been asking the same question myself. And I've been getting the same type of responses. Most people tell me there is still a chance you could have a 12 foot snake. I still want one.

What is considerd a normal dwarf? And 12 ft is much smaller than 17 or 18 ft isn't it? The difference in girth alone between a 12 ft animal and an 18 ft animal is huge. If both animals are healthy of course. But if your looking for a dwarf under 12ft, go with a super dwarf or Kuyaudi. Or a genetic stripe for that matter. Bob's female is easily 9-10 yrs old and only 10 ft. E-mail Mike Wilbanks he is usually available, and is more than happy to help someone with questions. He has done as much breeding with dwarfs as anyone . Bob can also help you easily. But either way you'd be getting an awesome animal.

Hey Mike,
His girl is 4 ft or so. He feeds her moderately, no hurry to get her big. You are probably right on their size, unless someone pumps one up.
