Ok, my boyfriend and I just built a rack system for my mice. My question is.. we used 1/4" hardware cloth. Do the mice have any trouble getting to the food through this? It seems so small, I'm worried they won't be able to get to the food. From what I have seen that is what everyone uses with mice, I guess I just want to hear someone say that it works fine and my mice won't starve:medfrown:
I have used it......works well. Takes them a little longer too get the food, but it helps keep them occupied. I have even used it for rats and they had no problems as well. It also helps to keep food from falling in and making a mess on the bottom.
