Breeders etc

I have a few sources right now.. Im talking to DNA (who i know are reading this) , Connie from arboreal exotics. I really wish DNA's Diegos would hatch sooner!

Connie has nosy be, ambanja in 3-5 weeks and maroanstetra sometime. Im really distraught.... I like the red bars, but jason said they wont nessasarily be red bars and i love those diegos but i really dont think i can wait until march.. I just i knew when the maroanstetras would be ready....

If you know any other canadian sources, give me their email please,

Thanks,
geoff:grab:

I wish DNA's Diegos would hatch sooner too!!!! I also wish I could get a price quote on them. I can't wait to get one, but I can't make reserves without knowing a price :S.

Patience is a required virtue in the chameleon hobby. I'm waiting till March for a Diego and until next winter for a pair of jacksonii.

What it all boils down to is cost+convenience+desire, you have to be able to afford it, aquire it and want it.

Well, very sadly, I can put you all out of your misery!!! In the last few days the eggs had started to shrink down (just like the veileds do), but that was a far as they went and the panthers did not hatch. I am very upset as you can imagine, but I am told this often happens. The only good thing is that I do have many more eggs still to hatch in the months ahead. Sorry folks. I am taking as much advice as I can from all you panther breeders out there.
I would appreciate your help!.....Andrea

Geoff - I have e-mailed you. I'll be sure to let you know when another batch in near hatching and please don't ask when, because I don't really know for sure. That's the way it is with chameleons!!

Very sorry to hear that. I lost my first leopard gecko egg (and I thought they were the easiest to breed) over the summer. I disected it to find a fully formed little gecko. Very sad when these things happen, but they nor their parents would have existed had they not been kept by us.

Can you document the temps both consistent and the spikes? Humidity, incubation medium, incubation set up and anything else pertinent to solving why this happened?
