Talking New rosies!

Took 3 of the baby sonorans in to sell for PNHS and came back with 3 new snakes.

I picked up an adult female coastal rosy, a sub-adult female mexican chocolate rosy, and a 2003 female spotted python.

I'm trying to find out locality info on this big, beautiful girl. She's actually bright orange, with a grey-blue (light) background, but my camera's flash washes it out.

This girl came from a guy selling off his collection. She's a sub-adult, but a beauty!

Anyone want to help me with locality information?

Cool she looks like a cross between a costal and a mid-baja. I say that because she has the costal pattern with a mid-baja background.
Cheers,
Trevor

Sweet...congrats! Specific localities can be very difficult to guage, especially since they can be extremely variable within themselves. Your best bet is to ask Roy. The first one is definitely a coastal rosy of some sort. Wouldn't say its a mid-baja cross.

The first one is definately a California coastal.
What does the belly look like? The belly pattern can tell alot in rosies.
The high orange makes it look like a San Gabriel, but it should have lots of orange on the ventrals if that is the case.
The second snake looks like it could be a cross.
If it weren't for the uneven stripes, I'd say it was probably a mainland triv, but it looks like it could have some Arizona rosy in it.
Arizona rosies have black flecks on the edges of each ventral scale which makes a train track pattern down the belly. This may be reduced or absent in crosses

The top one's belly is mostly greyish.

The bottom one has the train-track pattern down the belly.

Can't say anything about localities that's helpful, but those rosies are just amazing! The third one is beautiful!!
