yellow anaconda shedding

ive jus got a baby yellow anaconda in july.... i feed it3 ratpups a week but its only shed twice...is dat normal?

It seem the the scale on those snake are not growing very fast heaven if the snake is. My yellow conda shaded only 2 time, from 24inch to more then 4 feet.

Sounds fine to me. Yellows don't grow like burms do hence they won't shed as frequently. But every 1.5 months is mroe than adequate. Shed cycles aren't much to worry about unless the snake is rarely shedding or shedding excessively/continuously. Each snake is unique in there are many variables that control the cycle.
