Hmmmm.... I always thought Guyanas were darker... more "purple-ish". Are you sure that's not a Suriname? In any event, it's a gorgeous snake. Love that bright red tail.

Im 99.9% sure its a guyana... It has a purplish/pink tint...also the pictures have been c/b/c mastered in photoshop...its hard to get a good color shot with my cam...

Very attractive Boa and sweet avatar too boot.Considering the area of Guy and Suri( and the interbreeding of the species in these areas) it is next to impossable to seperate these two Boa's and in time I think there will be an accepted generalisation of both distinct groups as being the same. Unless you go there and collect it yourself you don't know what you have. These two B.c.c are both varying in colour so pink or purple does not give us a definate locality. Don't forget that this group is genetically compatable with some of the forms of B.c.i (colombian as one example) so you can never be sure what you have unless you know with out a shadow of a doubt the breeder or the area of origin.

good feeding pics...thats a pretty Guyana I wish I could catch my girl feeding.....she won't eat if there's someone in the room and if I should walk in on her she has dragged her meal into a hide box anyways! I only get to see the bulge in her belly!
