He's a BCI (Boa Constrictor Imperator), commonly known as COlombian Red-Tailed Boa.
They are usually quite tame, both of mine are.

Yes very nice! I remember when my two females were that big, and it wasn't very long ago (1 year)...oh how they've grown! Well I always thought mine were BCC Redtails? I'm horrible at all these names, I'll post a few pics this week of my two redtails and perhaps someone could identify them for me....I just call them Columbian Redtail Boas....

Murph, ColOmbian red-tailed boas are BCIs (almost always, at any rate). Surinams and Guyanas are BCCs.

Well I've made myself believe mine is a Surinam...but I seriously can't be 100% sure as the guy who sold it to me couldn't tell me either. For now I'll call it a redtail boa and leave it at that! haha.
