White lined geckos aka Skunk geckos are pretty well display only animals. They have very sensitive, thin skin that tears easily and are very high strung which makes them poor canditates for handling.

-nocturnal
-basking spot of around 85 or so
-humidity 70%+
-tall enclosure, vertical space is more important than ground space
-needs to be furnished with several climbing branches and hiding areas (foliage works well)
-water dish should be provided but enclosure should also be misted daily
-diet consists mainly of crickets, mealworms, and waxworms dusted with calcium/d3 supplement
-also enjoys fruit mixture of some fruit baby food mixed with a little honey and calcium powder
-usually maxes out at 10"

Hope this helped

Definately a look and not touch gecko. Mine was like a little pitbull, heh. Relatively easy to keep tho.

Linds, you never cease to amaze me. What DON'T you know about herps?

One would think there was a retired herpotology professor behind those posts. You go, girl!
