Vanan and Katt have arrived in Leader! We will be unloading their belongings and getting them settled in today. Soon we will post pics of the house, and get them set up online again. We will likely hold a housewarming party during the snake count Sept 12, 13 and 14.

i would really like to make it out for the fall snake count but i dont think its going to happen this year

The snake count we hold at the densites each spring and fall are exactly that - counting snakes in their native habitat. We have rattlers and bullsnakes, as well as western hognose snakes near our home, and we go out as a group to count the number of each species we find, photograph them, and record their location by GPS. This is all independent research done by Ryan and myself, and a few fellow enthusiasts. You can find more info in the Events forum
