newbie
Hello all, i am new to the forum. My name is Blake and i live in Dallas, TX. I currently have a 6 month old yellow anaconda and a 4 month old burm. Both are sweeties. I would like to add an African rock python to my collection, but am having a hard time convincing my girlfriend that it would be a great addition. I have glanced over some of the topics and have yet to find anyone else with an anaconda. Does anyone else have one?

welcome to the site! I don't know much about Afrocks, so I can't help you there..but I'm sure someone here can.

Welcome Blake! I'd love to own a yellow anaconda, but they are illegal in Alberta. As for your Afrock, well.. I side with your girlfriend. From what I hear, those things are 25 feet of nasty! Anyway, it's a great community we have here, you'll enjoy it for sure.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome. This is my first forum to join so I may be a bit timid at first. Again, thanks for the welcome.

Hey blake! We're glad to have ya. For me, your snake collection is somewhat masochistic (hehe) but if you frequent the Giant Python forum, you will find people with information and a passion for afrocks.

Dom and a couple of others have afrocks, and I know a couple have yellow annies. Then there's the ones like me, who just love those burms! Welcome!
