questions

first off sorry for asking so many questions i like to plan ahead

what size prey item does an adult milksnake take

what size rubbermaid is good for an adult milk

An adult milksnake is not very specific, and they can range from small to large. I would say an adult mouse would be the norm though. Try and find a rubbermaid around 24"+ long, 12"+ wide, and however high you want it. The height is not a real big deal, as they seem to be content with anything you give them.

some species of milks are notorious for staying with small prey, I have an adult pueblan female that mostly refuses anything larger than a big fuzzy, I have a mexi 2/3 her size that wants adult mice (and wishes it could have jumbo rats lol). There is a BIG feeding cost difference between a snake that eats 10 fuzzies a sitting every 7 days and one that eats 1 adult mouse.
