How old do Corn snakes have to be to get sexed?

You can sex(find out the gender) of the snake at any time in it's life but don't breed them before they are 3 years of age.

Daz, they can be sexed like andy said at any age, but your probably best to get someone to sex them for you... Ask around in the corn snake or make a post asking if someone in the toronto area could maybe sex them for you and you might get some help!

As everyone has said they can be sexxed any time but they do have to be a certain age to breed. How old are your snakes?

Also you may want to wait some time after the minimum age before breeding, so you have healthier babies.

wouldnt any animal only breed when they think its the right time for themselves? if the snake was to young and it was with the opposite sex would they still try to breed even if they were before the age?

An animal may be sexually mature to breed but won't have the size to bring babies to term or the babies would be really stunted. like how a ~12 year old girl is sexually mature enough to have a child but not physicaly mature to do it with good health (still lots of growing to do). It doesn't hurt to let the animal sit for a year and grow a little.
