That's what I thought too! It's not even done yet, he's going back in a couple of weeks to have the colour filled in... the guy's name is Keith Hamlin (from ChondroForum), and that's a pic of his snake that he took into the tattoo guy Pretty awesome I think!

Find a good artist. A good tattooist will be able to draw you up a nice custom tattoo if you give her/him a rough idea. I gave my friend a bunch of snake pictures and whatnot so she had an idea of their conformation, etc., and told her the kind of style I was after, and she's in the process of drawing up a sleeve for me

that is a great tat or the gtp. awesome. zoe, i agree with the others...get something original. I have a few tattoos and all are originals and just a little different from what would be mainstream. try to put some of your personality in it... some slogan, something... just to make it personalized. as to where, get it on your lower back/hips...that'd be great.
cheers and good luck...
MIKE
oh, there are questions you should ask any tattoist before you get it done... let me know on msn before you go and I'll give you some questions to ask. they are important...

Spikella...that's a WICKED tat! I'm jealous.
I want to get a snake tatty as well, and since there's no real room left on my arms, I'm going to have to settle for my one unmarked leg. I definitely want something original, and I always suggest the course of originality to others.

there is nothing worse then the ppl that walk into the shop and just pic something off the wall in 5 min and get that tattooed right away. God knows how many ppl have that exact same tattoo, esp since some artists sell their flash to others.
Bring in a photo of the snake you want done, even if it isnt even the right 'pose'. A good artist will be able to make one that is your own.
