Depends on your BP. i'm thinking about two years for mine, but it'll depend on how fast he grows.

I kept My BP in a 20 gal long for about 6-8 months.......By that time he was about the length of the tank. Now he is about the length of a 40 gal breeder, and getting bigger! I think I am going to keep him in there though......

well . if it helps with the analysis on how fast he grows. he is about 10 months and he is about about 2 feet long.
