egg looks?

i am trying to hatch painted turtle eggs that my female turtle layed about a month ago...what should the eggs look like by now? Mine are white, and one of them has sort of collapsed. on one side the egg bends in. Do you think its dead?

Assuming they are close to other reptile eggs, the egg sounds fine but maybe a little dehydrated. Put a little piece of moist paper towel over the egg till is fills out again.
