Coy,
You've got a basic husbandry problem somewhere...please describe, as accurately as possible, your set-up. Then perhaps we can give you some better advice.
Cheers!
Simon

I have a simple setup four both of my snakes. I have a two foot gopher snake in a ten gallon tank, with a heating pad under one third of the tank. I use astroturf, with a hide on the warm side and a water bowl on the cool side. I keep the temps at 86 for the warm side and around 76, 78 for the cool side. Everything is the same for my Bullsnake except he is in a 55L sterilite tub. Im not illiterate im disgraphic it makes it hard for me to transfer what im thinking into writing or typing

Serpent-King, lay off the insults, eh? Ssnakess is not about making fun of others, but about helping them.
For shedding problems I use a big pile of moss, sprayed down, and sometimes add a rock to help them rub off the shed.

Serpent King, you just asked "What's the deal with hets? I don't get it." I bet you wouldn't have appreciated it if people made fun of you. What seems easy to some people may not be to others, so stop being rude....
Coy, you should also have a place for the snakes to hide on the cool side. Maybe you do and just forgot to mention it though... And don't take the insults to heart. Some people don't know how to conduct themselves in a public place...

Boohoohoo, Coy might cry now because I told him to make some sense. If he's looking for help he could try making his writing at leasta bit understandable. As opposed to closing his eyes and hitting keys.

I'm very glad Serpent-King was banned! He was extremely rude and inconsiderate!
I think that in the future you should use a humidity hide rather than misting, I have done that and have never had worse than a two piece shed.

Coy,
I hope thay got rid of that ignoramus, Serpent-King! People like that have no place in an on-line community. I apologize for his rude and embarrassing behaviour.
A good soaking after the eyes clear can often help a snake shed easily. If the humidity's particularly low, sometimes spraying or misting just isn't enough.
Good luck, and let us know how the next sheds go.
Simon

Thanks for the replies. I didnt know that they needed one on the cool side but i will place one there tonight. As for the humidity hide how could i set one up for future sheds. Do i put damp moss in a hide on the warm side, or is there more to it.
