tanks

ive got a young berded dragon i was wondering what is the minimum size tank i can have for it when it is fully grown and what kind of subsrate i should use?

i would say a 40 breeder - 18w x 36l x 16h.
u could use newspaper

Fully grown beardies need AT LEAST a 50 gallon tank... if not bigger! Bigger is ALWAYS better.
No granular substrates such as sand or wood chips. You can use newpaper, paper towel, repti-carpet or yesterdays news. Yesterdays news is a substrate made of recycled newspaper, don't get the hard kind though. Get the soft kind, I hear it keeps the smell down in the cage also. i would suggest at least a 55 gallon.

i use play sand for my subtrate but thier is much contraversy over using play sand. But me personaly i have never had a problem with it.

a 3x2x2 would be bare minimum for an adult bearded dragon. But you shouldn't go for bare minimum, you should get the biggest enclosure you can.
