I'm going to catch some tadpoles for pets. Unfortunately I don't know what kind they are. Is there a general way of sexing tadpoles? If anyone lives in Ottawa they're the ones in the streams at Andrew Haydn Park around 1.5" and green.
You have to wait until they transform into the frog or taod and even then distinguishing the difference between male and female can be difficult at times.
