Taking field herping to a new level
What a great day, I got to sit and look off my deck and watch a painted turtly dig a nest then lay 8 beautiful eggs in my front lawn. Cool drink in hand, legs up, and a smile from ear to ear.
We will have them daily for the next month laying eggs.
Mardy

Man, I shouldn't even read this forum, I get so jealous of the wildlife in other people's backyards.
It sounds awesome and I'd love to see some pics.

Lucky mardy .. lol
Talkng about turtles.. the closest to wildlife I seen was this morning..
there was a huge dead snapper ont he side of the road .. brought her to work and cut her open .. and just liek u now..
All I have to do is wait for the eggs to hatch out.. there was about 40 eggs .. a good 7 were broken cause of her accident.. but all others looked fine.. they will be released once hatched!
