Hi everyone, sorry for taking so long to get here. lol, lots of reading. For those of you who don't know me, my name is Deb or Debbie. Well, that isn't my full name but if anyone calls me Deborah it's grounds for a kick in the shin! That's about where I can reach since I'm only 4' 11". lol
I will be merried for 9 years next month. Man that makes me feel old. Now where'd I put that dang cane? lol.
I have an 8 year old ( going on 20) daughter named Cynthia. Our only child. She is into herps just as much as I am but Joe, my husband, is scared of them. lol. I would love to own a small snake but to him there is no such thing. He also hates bugs. What a woosie. lol, but I love him and he is very supportive of me and my business.
We met when I was 13 and he was 16, and 16 years later we are still going strong. Scary sometimes. lol.
We bought our first house last year and I was so happy to get my own herp room.

Hubby's idea so he didn't have to see them but hey, I didn't mind, it gave me room to add to the family. lol.
I now have about 14 beardies, 40 leos, 4 fatties, a blue tongue, a tree frog, and a newt. Oh, and can't forget my daughters darn gold fish and koi. lol. For other pets we have a sweetie pie tiel and a spoiled rotten ferret.

I live in a little hick town, 1/2 way between Montreal and Ottawa, and the herp community is almost non excicting here, but we are starting to contaminate the population. lol.

I'm trying to spread the word along with a couple herp friends. Having Little Ray's about an hour away is a big help!!

I try to promote them as much as I can.
Well, I think that about sums me up. Oh ya, and my friends say I have no life cuz I spend all my free time with my herps. lol. It's a wonderful life for me.

I am often called Lizard lady or Dragon Lady at work. Bahah, I guess that's better than what I used to be called at my previous job. lol, I wonder if anyone can guess? No, there is no swearing in it.

I have a lot of critters and I am perminantly attached to LdyDrgn, who is also an admin at ReptileHaven.net and generalized web junkie.

Was a cop for nine years, but got sick of the BS (from the public, AND the brass!)
Currently work in county jail (population 1200ish) as a detention deputy. (JUST a jailer, as my wife so eloquently puts it!) and am perfectly happy there.
I have 1.3 Ball Pythons, 1.1 BCI's, 0.0.1 Normal Cornsnake. Someday, when the kids leave home and I can afford to feed it, I want a normal burm.
Thats about it....I'm off to take out my dentures, take my meds, put an afghan (blanket!) on my legs, and watch old Ed Sullivan reruns, younguns!

Ya, I know what you mean, I couldn't get over all the amount of younger members here. I thought there were a lot more older folk than that here, but then, maybe they just aren't replying?? Eithor way, it was great to hear a bit about everyone and nice to see so many new members reply as well as the old ones.

Well, it's friday the 13th so I'm giong to put on my protective gear and head out to work for the day. If I make it back home I'll be on later.

Hi okay well I'm Aqua_Elf formally CYberGhost who was recently banne dfor no reason and is absolutly ridiculous so I had to make this new stupid screen name. SO I just wanted to put it out there that I ws banned for something stupid and then apogized to the mods and begged for forgiveness, wthout a reply and am still banned. I was also accused of being all these people I dont even know except a few, but only because I use a shared comp.

Aqua_Elf - actually, you were not banned for no reason, as the mods here are great and don't ban unless they really really need to, and the person does not change their behavious after a few warning.
Anyway, though, welcome *back* to the site! Hopefully things go better this time!

Are you a modd? So no I never got a warning from a mod and I didt even know the reason until I e-mailed one of them. I was banned for arguing with BP13 but I dont see many of the others that did this banned. They said it was becuase I shared the same IP as some other banned members who use the same connection as I do at this shared comp.

I am not gona argue with you what you did but I was arguing with bp13 a bit too but I kbnow how too argue I was warned in the past and I learned how to do things you will to you will see and if ppl are posting under your name change your pass word and log out every time you are done here don't let the comp save your pass word and if you do see that some one posted under your name go to edit post and erase it and then post a reply and tell ppl that it was not you. That is what i do when the G/F postes and it is not clear info.

Its not that its a shared comp the public can sue it and other people in my city haev accounts on here that use this comp and connection and got banned. THerfore we have the same IP and so I guess the mods though we were the same person(s). But I still think IO should get my old name back because I apologized and really never got a warning from a mod I didt know I apogized and hate this stupid screen name. I have begge the mods but they wont evenm return my e-mails so I posted here to let them know and let everyone else know who I am.

Aqua - it may very well be because you have a shared IP that you haven't been completely banned. So I'd just let it go, be happy that you can still frequent the site and enjoy the forums

Its because I have the shared Ip I was banned they didt know they told me in the e-mail they sent me when I was 1st banned thye said I was the same as these other people and therfore I was on probation which I broke when arguing with BP13 so you see I should have been on probation but I should be now so I should get my old name back because I hate this one.
