Exclamation help PLEASE!!!!

i need some help....I don't anything about snakes, which is not that good, since I live in the middle of no where, and snakes surround me, but anyways.....I have a HUGE black snake in my garage! I noticed it had a white strip going down its belly....I was wondering if it was piosonous, and wat it was and everything like that! Any help would be very much appreciated!

First off It would help if we knew you location (Country/State/Province). That will make it easier to identify. I picture would help alot too!

I live in Tennessee, about an hour away from Knoxville, and I am sorry abou the pic thing, but it is under some boxes and stuff in the garage, and I am not going to go scare it, in case it is prisonous and decides to bite me or somthing!...THANKS for the help....

I did a google search on snakes of Tennessee and got this website:

None of the venemous ones look like the snake you describe. Click on the pictures and see if you can narrow down which snake you've got in your garage.

Also, if you want to remove it, I would not attempt to do it yourself if you are afraid of it biting you and if you don't know anything about them. Call animal control, they should be able to remove it for you.

sounds like to me that its a common black snake nothing to worry about, jus let him do his own thing
