Bite difference between Amazon Basin and Northern ETB

Hello! I am interested in getting an emerald tree boa or a green tree python and I had a quick question about the ETB. I know that they are definitely known for their nasty bite and I was wondering if there is a big difference between the northern vs amazon basin localities in the strength and damage of a bite. If you do get bit, would it require a doc visit or stitches? If so then I'll go with the GTP. Just curious because the Northern ETB and the GTB seem so similar and I'm really having a hard time deciding. Thanks!

Re: Bite difference between Amazon Basin and Northern ETB

So to clarify the amazon basin is no longer just a locality of emerald tree boa but a completely different species. They use to be the same species but this was changed in 2009 I think it was. That being said yeah they both got some scary teeth lol. I've heard stories of people bleeding a lot and nerve damage in the hands but these are stories I cant confirm if they are true. I haven't gotten tagged just yet. Also amazon basins do get a bit bigger than northern emeralds so I suppose the chance for larger teeth in basins is there as they get larger. GTPs also have large teeth but def not as impressive as an emerald. My gtp has tagged me but it wasn't anything serious just a few teeth. I've had colubrid make me bleed more.
